Department of Labor Employment Track: Essential Skills for Transitioning Service Members

The Department of Labor Employment Track is one of four specialized two-day tracks available to service members participating in the Transition Assistance Program (TAP). This workshop is designed to equip you with the essential skills needed for a successful civilian career.

Throughout this track, you’ll gain hands-on experience in:

• Resume Writing: Learn how to create a professional resume that highlights your military experience and translates it effectively for civilian employers.
• Job Applications: Discover best practices for navigating job searches, filling out applications, and finding opportunities that match your skills and interests.
• Interviewing Techniques: Build confidence and master the art of interviewing, including how to answer common questions and present yourself as a strong candidate.
