Teen Summer Reading Program- Traveling Food Challenge

The McConnell AFB Library is celebrating our two themes for the 2018 Summer Reading Program: “Libraries Rock!” and “Reading Takes You Everywhere” Throughout the summer, we will host a variety of programs for our patrons to enjoy. There will be interactive programs for teens, grades 6-12, each week to encouraging movement and reading. Programs will occur every Wednesday at 2 p.m. All programs take place in the Youth Center (located in Base Housing). All programs are free, but registration in the Summer Reading Program is required.
Travel around the world and make your best dish! Join us at the Youth Center on June 27th for the Traveling Food Challenge. There will be foods from each continent and you must make an edible final dish! You can work in teams or on your own, who will be champion?
Earn prizes and help the Base Library work toward their goal of 1.5 million minutes read by registering for the Summer Reading Program! Pick up your registration form from the Library, then log your minutes at https://mcconnellafblibrary.beanstack.org. Summer Reading sign-ups go between May 29, 2018, through July 26, 2018. Recording minutes can be between May 29, 2018, through July 24, 2018.
