Summer Reading School Aged Program: Draw Along TV
July 22 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
All Summer Reading School Aged participants are invited to the Youth Center Gym on 22 July for a chance to learn how to draw with Kyle Tiernan! With a mixture of comedy and learning each child will learn how to create four different drawings by the end of the program. Join us from 1pm-2pm for this exciting and creative learning opportunity. For more information please call the Library at (316) 759-4207. The 2019 Summer Reading Program’s Theme is “A Universe of Stories” the CSLP (national) and “It’s Showtime at your Library!”, the AMC iRead theme (Air Force). Our school aged program is for grades 1 through 5, each week there will be a program focused around the themes. The Summer Reading Program is a way for school-aged children to continue learning and exercising their brain throughout the summer to avoid the “brain drain” that happens to children during the summer months out of school through fun and engaging activities. Summer Reading sign ups go between May 28, 2019 through July 24, 2019. Recording minutes can be between May 30, 2019 through July 25, 2019.
