Hearts Apart at Tanganyika

Hearts Apart is a monthly event organized to boost morale of deployed members’ families throughout the deployment of the military members. All spouses and children of deployed members and those serving remote tours, all services, are invited to attend. Each month the families will be fed a free meal and encouraged to engage in free activities such as the zoo, circus, animal park, etc

10:30am-5pm– Park Open and Families can enjoy the park at their leisure
11:30am – Lunch served at the pavilion (CURRENTLY DEPLOYED ONLY)

Driving Directions From Wichita
**All visitors must access Maple from 183rd St to reach the Park. If you are on Kellogg, please take 183th St north to Maple St, then go West to Hawkins Lane. If you are coming from the East on Maple, you will have to go 1 mile South to Kellogg and go West to 183rd St. You can access Maple from 183rd St.**
Take HWY 54/US 400 (Kellogg) West to the stop light at 183rd St W. Go 1 mile North (Right) to Maple. Turn West (Left) and proceed approximately 1/2 mile to Hawkins Lane (on the left). Turn South (Left) and you will see the entrance at the end of the road
