June 21, 2018 @ 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
The McConnell AFB Library is celebrating our two themes for the 2018 Summer Reading Program: “Libraries Rock!” and “Reading Takes You Everywhere” Throughout the summer, we will host a variety of programs for our patrons to enjoy. There will be interactive programs for families each week to encouraging movement and reading. Summer Reading is an opportune time for families to connect through fun. Programs will occur every Thursday at 10 a.m. All programs take place in the Youth Center (located in Base Housing). All programs are free, but registration in the Summer Reading Program is required.
Librarians and their patrons love Mr. Stinky Feet! Some refer to him as a “library hero.” The feeling is mutual. His anthem “Rockin’ the Library” and his 80s-style power ballad “Library Ann” are huge hits with the bookworms. He’s shattering the silence in the stacks. Join us in the Youth Center on June 21st to witness Mr. Stinky Feet yourself!
